Transaction in Own Shares

MURRAY INCOME TRUST PLC - SHARE BUY-BACK


On 28 February 2005 Murray Income Trust PLC purchased for cancellation 22,032 of
its own ordinary shares at 527.32 pence per share.

Following  the  transaction  the  Company's issued  ordinary  share  capital  is
68,240,626 ordinary shares of 25p each.
