MURRAY INCOME TRUST PLC - SHARE BUY-BACK


On 10 August 2005, Murray Income Trust PLC purchased for cancellation 48,000 of
its own ordinary shares at 562.58 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company's issued ordinary share capital is
66,644,664 ordinary shares of 25p each.
