MURRAY INTERNATIONAL TRUST PLC
Murray International Trust PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Lady
Balfour of Burleigh as an independent non-executive Director to the Board, with
effect from 30 September 2003.
Janet Balfour of Burleigh D.Phil., D.Litt. D.L., FRSE, (57) taught politics and
modern history at Oxford University, before moving to the Central Policy Review
Staff in the Cabinet Office. She has worked for governments in many countries
and for a number of public companies. Her other current directorships are at
Cable & Wireless plc; the Scottish American Investment Trust plc; the Scottish
Oriental Smaller Companies Trust plc; the Nuclear Generation Decommissioning
Fund Ltd; NMT Group plc; BPB plc; and Stagecoach plc.
There is no disclosure required under Section 6.F.2 of the Listing Rules.
