Murray International Trust PLC (the 'Company')
The Company announces that it has received a requisition on behalf of ST
Partners L.P. requiring the Company to put a resolution to shareholders at the
annual general meeting likely to be held in May 2001. This resolution is for
the Company to put proposals to shareholders for a tender offer of the
Company's shares at a price equal to 98 per cent. of net asset value per
share.
The Board recommends shareholders do nothing at the present time. The Board
will be writing to shareholders in due course.
