MURRAY INTERNATIONAL  TRUST PLC ("the Company")

PURCHASE OF OWN ORDINARY SHARES

On 15 January 2016, the Company purchased in the market 20,000 Ordinary shares at an average price of 759.75 pence per share. These shares will be held in treasury.

Following the transaction, the Company's share capital comprises:

127,581,952 Issued Ordinary shares (excluding treasury shares)

20,000 Ordinary shares held in treasury

127,601,952 Issued Ordinary shares (including treasury shares)

In addition there are 910,364 B Ordinary shares in issue.  Accordingly, the total number of shares with voting rights in the Company is 128,492,316 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
