BOARD CHANGES
The Directors of Millfield Group plc, a leading independent financial services
advisory group, today announce changes to the Board that have been implemented
to reflect the substantial progress made across the Group since its flotation on
AIM in March 2001.
At the time of the flotation, the organisation and Board were structured to help
support the creation of a robust infrastructure of the Group. This phase of the
Group's development has now been substantially completed and a new
organisational structure has been implemented to focus on distribution and
growing turnover and profitability across each of the Group's operations.
The following changes to the Board are therefore being made with immediate
effect: Roger Brosch, age 40, has been appointed to the Board as Distribution
Director. Laurence Nesbitt, IT Director, and Anthony Read, Marketing &
Compliance Director, are both stepping down from the Board, they remain as
directors of Millfield Partnership Limited (the regulated company). In
addition, Terry Stannard, a Non-Executive Director, leaves the Board due to
other commitments.
Commenting on the changes, Richard Mansell-Jones, Chairman of Millfield Group
plc, said:
"Now two years on from the original listing, our focus is to ensure that we have
the appropriate structure in place to optimise our position as the premier
financial services advisory and distributor business in the UK. We are
confident that the simplified reporting structure and smaller, more focused
Board provides the infrastructure to deliver tomorrow's opportunities. On
behalf of everyone at Millfield I would like to thank all those who have helped
to steer Millfield to where it is today and to welcome Roger Brosch to the
Board."
Following the changes, the Millfield Group plc Board will comprise four
Executive and four Non-Executive Directors.
Roger Brosch is also a Director of Millfield Partnership Limited and other Group
subsidiaries and a Non-Executive Director of Meldorma Residents Association Ltd.
