Millfield Group PLC ("Millfield" or the "Company")
Directorate Change
Following the strategic review conducted during the spring of this year, the
restructuring of the Company has included the sale or closure of non-core and
foreign businesses.
Accordingly, the Company is now focussed entirely on the UK market and, as a
result, there is no significant role for a Group Sales Director. Bryan Beeston
has thus decided that it is appropriate to step down from the Company's board.
It is anticipated that Bryan's resignation will become effective on 31 December
2005 to enable a smooth transfer of responsibilities. Bryan will continue his
association with Millfield by launching a new venture within the group in the
new year.
The Board would like to thank Bryan, an original founder of Millfield, for his
contribution to the development of the Company and, more recently, for his role
in a year of change, progress and development and looks forward to his continued
involvement with Millfield.
