Notification of Changes in Directors' Interests
National Grid notifies the following changes to
Directors' beneficial interests in NGG Ordinary
Shares, following operation of the National Grid
Share Matching Scheme on Friday 8 June 2001.
Two directors have acquired additional
Ordinary shares which were purchased on
their behalf at a price of 579.5p per share.
Shares Purchased :
1. Mr Stephen Box. 3,680
2. Dr Roger Urwin. 3,381
Following these purchases, each director has been
granted a matching award under the Share Matching
Scheme. The award is exercisable at a total
exercise price of £1, from 8 June 2004 to 8 June
2008,subject to the retention of the original
shares until the date of exercise.
Matching Awards:
1. Mr Stephen Box. 6,134
2. Dr Roger Urwin. 5,635
The total share interests of the directors
following these changes are:
1. Mr Stephen Box. 365,547
2. Dr Roger Urwin. 482,306
