Notification of transaction of PDMR and connected person
The issuer announces that Northumbrian Water Share Scheme Trustees Limited (the
"Trustee") of the NWG Long Term Incentive Plan (the "Plan") has today, 9 January
2008, transferred ordinary 10 pence shares in the issuer to the person
discharging managerial responsibility named below at nil cost pursuant to the
rules of the Plan. The transfer of shares is pursuant to a conditional award of
shares made on 22 December 2004.
Ceri Jones acquired 14,506 shares under the LTIP, representing 0.002% of the
issuer's issued share capital. Of these, 6,020 shares (0.001%) were sold at
£3.4425 per share to meet tax liabilities. A further 8,486 shares were
transferred to Mrs K Jones. Mr Jones' beneficial and family interests in the
issuer now total 26,720 shares, representing 0.005% of the issuer's issued share
capital.
This notification is made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4R(1)(a).
