Board change

The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc announces today that Joseph MacHale will step down as a Non-executive Director on 14 May 2013.

Philip Hampton, Chairman of the RBS Group, said:

"Having served nearly nine years on the Board, Joe has made significant contributions to the Board, Group Audit Committee and Board Risk Committee and we have benefitted greatly from his knowledge and experience.  I am particularly grateful to Joe for providing valuable continuity to the Board over a challenging period for the Group.  He leaves with our thanks and good wishes for the future."
