NETCALL PLC
('Netcall' or 'the Company')
Cable & Wireless partnership agreement
Netcall plc (NET), a leading provider of callback, auto-messaging and contact
solutions, is pleased to announce that it has signed a new 3-year strategic
partnership agreement with Cable & Wireless Europe, Asia & US.
The new distribution agreement will see Cable & Wireless integrating a hosted
platform into its existing infrastructure to deliver Netcall's flagship product
QueueBuster as part of its product and service portfolio.
QueueBuster helps reduce call centre queues by offering callers the option of
accepting an automated call-back, instead of waiting on hold. The call-back
option can be tailored to meet particular customer service objectives, depending
on a customer's specific requirements.
The agreement builds upon an existing relationship which has seen the Company
supplying Cable & Wireless with QueueBuster as a product and hosted solution
using Netcall's infrastructure. The offering has proven to be a success with
clients such as STA Travel. The integration of Netcall's solution into Cable &
Wireless' existing infrastructure will allow multiple users to access
QueueBuster simultaneously, as well as facilitating a simpler and more cost
effective deployment process for C&W's customers.
Henrik Bang, CEO of Netcall commented: 'A key part of our strategy has been to
widen our market reach through partnerships with leading industry players. We
are therefore delighted to have signed this new agreement with Cable & Wireless,
expanding our partnership further, which to date has proven very beneficial.'
Alex Connors, Cable & Wireless' business manager for CCS and telebusiness,
added: 'Our main priority is to provide our big business customers with a
service experience second to none. QueueBuster has helped us to do that. Now, by
taking the technology a step further and integrating it into our platform, we
can provide a broader and more attractive offering to our customers.'
