The Company has been notified today that Mr Simon Wolfson and Mr Andrew Varley
ceased to have beneficial interests in Ordinary Shares of 10p each in Next plc
as follows:

After the above disposals, Mr Wolfson continues to have a beneficial interest in

have a beneficial interest in 89,739 Ordinary Shares of 10p each in Next plc.
