RESULT OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The Board of The North American Income Trust plc (the "Company") announces that all resolutions put to the Annual General Meeting ("AGM") held today, as set out in the Company's Annual Report for the year ended 31 January 2024, were passed on a poll, as follows:

As described in the Chair's Statement in the Annual Report for the year ended 31 January 2024, Dame Susan Rice retired as a Director of the Company at the conclusion of the AGM and was succeeded as Chair by Charles Park. Patrick Edwardson has been appointed as the Company's Senior Independent Director, replacing Charles Park.
