NORTH ATLANTIC SMALLER COMPANIES INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

The Board of North Atlantic Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC is pleased to announce that, subject to regulatory clearance in the USA, it has sold its interest in Bionostics Limited.

Proceeds from the sale are expected to amount to circa £32 million, resulting in an uplift in the net asset value of circa 38 pence per share.
