                             Purchase of Own Shares



On 27 June 2002 the Board of Northamber plc (the 'Company') bought for
cancellation 25,000 ordinary shares at 59p per share, representing 0.077 per
cent. of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.



On 28 June 2002 the Board also bought for cancellation 10,000 ordinary shares at
60p per share, representing 0.031 per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary
share capital.



Following the cancellation of these shares, the Company will have 32,464,000
ordinary shares in issue.
