Confirmation of Final Dividend for year ended 30 September 2003



Further to the Preliminary Results announcement released on 12 November 2003,
the board wishes to confirm that the final dividend proposed for the year ended
30 September 2003 is 4.3 pence per share. Together with the interim dividend of
0.7 pence per share, the total dividend for the year ended 30 September 2003 is
5.0 pence per share.



The proposed final dividend of 4.3 pence per share for the year ended 30
September 2003 will, if approved by shareholders, be paid on 19 December 2003 to
shareholders on the register at the close of business on 5 December 2003.
