                              Additional Listing



The Board of Numis announce that, on 10 January 2001, it approved the issue
and allotment of 10,000 (0.07%) ordinary shares in Numis to one former
employee.  This follows an exercise of 10,000 share options at an exercise
price of 105p per share.  These shares will rank pari passu with all existing
ordinary shares.



Application for the admission of these ordinary shares to trading on the
Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange has been made and
dealings are expected to commence on 17 January 2001.



The shareholdings referred above are in Numis' ordinary share capital of 25p
per share.
