The board of Numis announces that, on 13 June 2001, it approved the issue and
allotment of 25,000 (0.16%) ordinary shares in Numis. This follows an
exercise of 25,000 share options at an exercise price of 105p per share.
These shares will rank pari passu with all existing ordinary shares.
Application for the admission of these ordinary shares to trading on the
Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange has been made and
dealings are expected to commence on 21 June 2001.
The shareholdings referred to is Numis' ordinary share capital of 25p per
share. The total number of shares in issue following these transactions is
15,172,000.
