Numis Corporation Plc ('Numis')



EBT purchase



The Board of Numis announces that, on 13 December 2004, the Numis Employee Share
Trust ('the EBT' or 'the Trust') purchased 39,650 (0.20%) Numis shares at price
of 752.5p per share. Following this purchase of Numis shares the Trust holds
1,179,047 Numis shares (6.00%).



Exercise of options



The Board of Numis also announces that, today, it approved the issue and
allotment of 39,650 (0.20%) Numis shares following the exercise of options under
the Numis Unapproved Executive Share Option Scheme.

The new Numis shares will rank pari passu with all existing Numis shares.
Application will be made for admission of the new Numis shares to trading on the
Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange and dealings are
expected to commence on 20 December 2004.



The Numis shares referred to above are Numis' ordinary shares of 25p per share
and the total number of shares in issue following the above are 19,646,303.
