Scrip Dividend Scheme for the interim dividend for the year ending
30 September 2005
The Board of Numis announces that, on 6 July 2005, it approved elections that
were received in respect of 34,721,569 (33.3%) ordinary shares in Numis and, as
a result, the Board of Numis has approved the issue and allotment of 125,217
(0.12%) new ordinary shares in Numis at 173.40p per ordinary share. These
shares will rank pari passu with all existing ordinary shares. Application will
be made for admission of the new ordinary shares to trading on the Alternative
Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange and dealings are expected to
commence on 13 July 2005.
The ordinary shares referred to are Numis' ordinary shares of 5p per share and
the total number of shares in issue following the allotment above is
104,491,583.
