Board Appointment - Non-Executive Chairman    

The Board of Numis Corporation Plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Alan Thomas Carruthers (aged 54) as Non-Executive Chairman following Gerald Corbett's previously announced decision to step down from the Board, both with immediate effect.

Alan has over 27 years equity markets experience working for leading financial services firms and held senior positions as Head of Global Sales Trading at Morgan Stanley (1996 - 2003), Global Head of Equities at Cazenove (2003 - 2010) and Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Cash Equities at JP Morgan Cazenove (2010 - 2011). He has held a number of executive board level positions and is, therefore, familiar with the regulatory environment in which Numis operates and the operation of regulated boards and their governance structures. More recently, Alan served as a Non-Executive Director to Hydrodec Group Plc (2012 - 2016) where he also sat on the Audit and Remuneration Committees.
