Board Change - Appointment of Independent Non-Executive Director

The Board of Numis is pleased to announce that Richard Hennity will join the Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.  Additionally, and subject to FCA approval, he will be Chairman of the Risk Committee.

Richard Hennity is currently Chief Legal & Risk Officer of the International Division of Flutter Entertainment PLC. Previously he held a number of senior leadership and Board positions across a 21 year career  at HSBC Holdings PLC, including General Counsel for Group Legal between 2006 and 2013, and most recently, Group Head of Corporate Structuring, where he successfully implemented the de-merger of HSBC Bank plc  to create HSBC's ring-fenced bank in the UK, and managed HSBC's recovery and resolution planning globally.  He has extensive experience managing legal, risk, and compliance functions globally and has led numerous strategic and regulatory change projects both in the UK and internationally.

Commenting on Richard Hennity's appointment, Luke Savage Chairman of Numis, said:
