Board Changes

Numis announces that Sir David Arculus has informed the Board of his intention to retire as Non-executive Chairman of the Company in May 2014.    

Sir David's successor as Chairman of the Board will be Gerald Corbett.  Gerald joined the Board in May 2009 and has served as an independent Non-executive Director since that date.  Gerald has also served as a member of the Audit & Risk Committee, the Nominations Committee and the Remuneration Committee.   

The Company is undertaking a search for 2 new Non-executive Directors and expects to make an announcement in due course.

Sir David Arculus, said:

"It has been truly absorbing to be part of Numis over the last five years, which has been both challenging and hugely rewarding.  Through the hard work and dedication of its people, the firm successfully navigated the downturn and is now stronger than it has ever been. I wish the firm continued success in the future."
