Board Change

The Board of Numis announces that its Deputy Chairman, Nigel Turner, has decided
to retire from the Board with effect from 30 November 2007.

Nigel Turner said:

'I have thoroughly enjoyed the past two years at Numis, during which time the
business has made real progress to become strategically well positioned. Having
been tempted out of retirement to help Numis establish itself as a leading
corporate broker for UK listed companies, the time is now right for me to devote
more time to my other interests and my family. I wish Numis and all my
colleagues continued success'.

Michael Spencer, Chairman of Numis said:

'Nigel has brought to Numis a wealth of experience. We thank him for his
dedication over the past two years and wish him every success in the future.'
