Director change



The Board of Numis announces that, today, Charles Crick, who is currently
joint-head of Corporate Finance, has indicated that he will retire from the
Board to pursue other interests.  His departure from the Board and the Company
will take effect from 31 December 2004.



The Board would like to thank Charles Crick for his significant contribution to
the Company since he joined in 1996, and wishes him every success in the future.
