Numis Corporation Plc ('Numis')



The Board of Numis has received notification today that, on 29 June 2006, the
Numis Corporation Plc Employee Share Trust ('the Trust') purchased 264,321
(0.25%) Numis shares at a price of 260p per ordinary share. Following this
purchase the Trust now holds 9,567,197 (9.03%) Numis shares.

The Numis shares referred to above are Numis' ordinary shares of 5p each and the
total number of shares in issue is 105,902,506.
