NWF Group plc appoints a new Company Secretary


The Board of NWF Group plc is pleased to announce today that Linda Margaret
Walker has been appointed Company Secretary with effect from 1st February 2002.

Linda has been with the Group for eleven years, formerly as Financial Director
of its subsidiary company Boughey Distribution Ltd.

The vacancy is a result of the retirement of the current Company Secretary,
Michael D. Cookson, in March 2002.

Michael remains a Director of the Group until his retirement.
