                NEW CONTRACT FOR BOUGHEY DISTRIBUTION TO OPERATE

                       CONSOLIDATION DEPOT FOR SOMERFIELD


NWF Group plc ('NWF'), the diversified sales and distribution business,
announces that its wholly owned subsidiary, Boughey Distribution Ltd
('Boughey'), has won a new contract with Somerfield Stores Ltd ('Somerfield').
Boughey will manage a primary consolidation operation on behalf of Somerfield
from its Wardle depot in Cheshire.

Boughey has considerable experience in this arena and has been chosen by
Somerfield to consolidate existing stocks with a significant number of
suppliers, predominantly from the North West region. The provision of
approximately 2,500 additional pallet locations and development of a cross
docking zone have enabled Boughey to offer a flexible and timely storage and
distribution solution.

Graham Scott, Chief Executive, NWF commented: 'This opportunity is excellent
news for Boughey and we are excited by the opportunity that a major UK retailer
has given us. We are fully committed to aiding improvement of their supply chain
during this important phase in their development. With our planned expansion at
Wardle and our sites at Winsford and Deeside we are increasingly being asked by
big supermarket chains to act as their primary consolidator in the North West.'

Richard Parker, Head of Primary Distribution at Somerfield, added: 'We had a
very clear view of exactly what we were looking for in an Ambient Consolidation
operation. The project team visited many potential operators before finally
selecting Boughey. The selection of Boughey was based on their considerable
experience of consolidation, their flexibility, their capacity for growth and
not least of all the passion and commitment demonstrated during the tendering
process to winning the business. The operation has now been live for nearly four
months and the faith that Somerfield have shown in selecting Boughey has to date
proved well founded.'

Larry Breen, Managing Director of Concept BSP Ltd concurred, saying: 'Working in
partnership with Somerfield, we quickly identified that Boughey Distribution was
the obvious choice of operator for Consolidation in the North West. The
operation at Wardle demonstrates an impressive level of experience, expertise

scheme has gone live.'
