Orad wins order for two multi channel virtual sets from Portugal's Sic TV


Orad Hi-Tec Systems (Symbol: OHT), announced today that Sic TV, the largest
private TV station in Portugal, has purchased two multi channel virtual sets.


Under the agreement, Orad will provide Sic TV with two of its SmartSet virtual
set systems.  SIC TV will utilise the SmartSet system for various types of
productions such as news, magazines and entertainment.


The SmartSet systems are based on Orad's pattern recognition tracking solution
along with mechanical sensors.  This unique combination offers Sic TV the
ability to re-locate the camera's position as well as providing system
redundancy.  Empowered by Orad's DVG rendering platform, SmartSet is equipped
with multi channel capabilities which allow the director to preview each of the
cameras and dissolve between them.


'We ran a thorough and intense evaluation process before selecting the SmartSet
system.' Says Engr. Jose Lopes, Head of Engineering Department. for SIC TV.
'The graphics quality, the high level of photorealism, the flexibility and the
ease of use and operation are some of the reasons we decided to grant Orad this
