Listing Application for shares to be issued in connection with the Old Mutual plc scrip dividend alternative
Applications have been made by Old Mutual plc (the "Company") to the UK Listing Authority ("UKLA") for the listing of 13,674,225 new ordinary shares (the "shares") of 10 pence each in the Company and for trading of the shares on the London Stock Exchange. It is expected that admission will be granted on 24 June 2010 and that dealings will commence on the following day. The listing application has been made in connection with the Old Mutual plc scrip dividend alternative in lieu of cash for the final dividend in respect of the year ended 31 December 2009. When issued, these shares will be credited as fully paid and will rank pari passu with the Company's existing issued ordinary shares. An application has also been made for listing of the shares on the JSE Limited and notifications of the new share issue have been made to the Namibian, Malawian and Zimbabwean stock exchanges.
A copy of the document dated 11 March 2010 regarding the scrip dividend alternative has been submitted to the UKLA and is available for inspection at the UKLA's Document Viewing Facility at The Financial Services Authority, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HS.
