The business of this year's meeting will include proposals to adopt new Articles of Association as a result, among other things, of the UK Companies Act 2006 and for new employee share schemes to replace those originally adopted in 1999. Mr Norman Broadhurst, who has been a non-executive director since 1999 and is currently the senior independent director and Chairman of the Group Audit and Risk Committee, will retire at the AGM and not seek re-election. He will be succeeded as senior independent director by Mr Rudi Bogni and as Chairman of the Group Audit and Risk Committee by Mr Richard Pym.
