  NOTIFICATION OF INTERESTS OF PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
                                    (PDMRs)


Notification in accordance with Rule 3.1.4R of the Disclosure and Transparency
Rules


Old Mutual plc (the Company) announces that, on 23 August 2007, grants of
restricted share awards were made to the following PDMRs:

Rosemary Harris    Group Head of Risk & Compliance         199,872
Bertil Hult        Chief Executive, Skandia Nordic         74,594


The award to Rosemary Harris will vest in equal thirds on the third, fourth and
fifth anniversaries of the date of award, whilst the award to Bertil Hult will
vest in full on the third anniversary of the date of award.  Vesting in all
cases will be subject to and in accordance with the rules of the Old Mutual
Restricted Share Plan.
