DIRECTORATE
Old Mutual plc, the international financial services group, today announces that
John Deane, Director, Group Risk & Compliance, will be leaving the company to
take up a position as Executive Director at the Royal London Group.
Until the appointment of a successor, which will be announced in due course,
Martin Murray, Group Company Secretary and Don Hope, Group Treasurer will assume
Mr Deane's responsibilities.
Commenting on Mr Deane's departure, Jim Sutcliffe, Chief Executive, Old Mutual
plc, said:
'John's commitment and determination have been instrumental in the development
of the Group, and in particular, the successful acquisition of Skandia earlier
this year. I would to thank John for his valuable contribution and wish him
every success in the future.'
Mr Deane joined Old Mutual plc in the summer of 2003 as a consultant, before
becoming Director, Corporate Development in January 2004.
