Interim Dividend for the six months ended 30 June 2000
Currency Conversion
In the interim results announcement of Old Mutual for the
six months to 30 June 2000 on 5 September, the directors
declared an interim dividend of 1.6p per share.
The record date for this dividend payment is 20 October
2000 for all shareholders. The ex-dividend date is today,
16 October 2000.
The local currency equivalents of the proposed dividend
have now been established, using the exchange rates
prevailing on 13 October 2000, as reported today in the
Financial Times.
These dividends are as follows:
South Africa 17.53 South African cents
per share
Malawi 1.8105 MK per share
Namibia 17.53 Namibian cents per share
Zimbabwe 1.2394 Zimbabwean dollars per share
The interim dividend will be paid on 30 November 2000.
