Old Mutual plc will release its interim results for the six months ended 30 June
2006 at 7.00 a.m. UK time, 8.00 a.m. South African/Central European Time, on
Thursday, 14 September 2006. Following this, there will be a presentation on the
results at 9.30 a.m. UK time.

Jim Sutcliffe, Chief Executive, will host the presentation from London and there
will be a satellite link for analysts in South Africa. The addresses for the
