NOTIFICATION OF INTERIM RESULTS 

WEDNESDAY 5 AUGUST 2009

Old Mutual plc will release its interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2009 at 07:00 BST (08:00 CET / 08:00 South African time) on Wednesday 5 August 2009. A presentation will be held for investors and analysts at 09:00 BST (10:00 CET / 10:00 South African time).

Julian Roberts, Group Chief Executive, and Philip Broadley, Group Finance Director will host the presentation from the Company's London office at Old Mutual Place, 2 Lambeth Hill, London EC4V 4GG. There will be a satellite link to Johannesburg, where Diane Radley, Finance Director of Old Mutual South Africa will host South African investors and analysts at Mutual Square, Isibaya Building, 93 Grayston Drive, Sandton 2196, Johannesburg.
