Results for the year ended 31 December 2007

Mutual & Federal Insurance Company Limited ('Mutual & Federal'), the South
African general insurance subsidiary of Old Mutual plc ('Old Mutual'), has today
issued its preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2007.
