Directors' dealing

The Company has been informed that, on 30 January 2010, Jim Sumner and John Fickling, Directors of the Company, both acquired 180,000 ordinary shares in Optare at a price of 5.75 pence per share. As a result, Jim Sumner holds 1,395,497 ordinary shares and John Fickling holds 2,722,355 ordinary shares representing 0.49 per cent and 0.90 per cent respectively of the Company's issued share capital.
