Orca Interactive selected by Lattelecom for first ever Baltic MPEG-4 IPTV
service
RA'anana, Israel - April 10, 2007 - Orca Interactive (LSE: ORCA), a global
market leader in developing middleware and applications for IPTV, announces
today that its leading IPTV middleware solution, RiGHTvTM, has been deployed in
the Baltic region's first ever MPEG4 IPTV solution by Lattelecom, Latvia's
leading provider of information technology and telecommunications services.
Lattelecom's landmark service utilizes the latest version of Orca's RiGHTv
middleware and offers broadcast television, video on demand, multi-lingual
capabilities and self service functionality.
By using Orca's Service Delivery Platform (SDP) architecture, third party
programmers were also able to develop an innovative segmented advertising
service that allows Lattelecom to send tailored advertisements triggered by a
user's actions.
Welcoming the announcement, Orca Chief Executive, Haggai Barel said: 'I am

Lattelecom requires a flexibile and high quality carrier grade service and
