Orca Interactive announces an agreement with Dansk Bredband for the provision of
its IPTV middleware solution
Orca Interactive (LSE: ORCA), a global market leader in developing applications
for IPTV, announces that it has signed an agreement with Dansk Bredband, a
Danish broadband internet services provider, for the provision of its RiGHTvTM
IPTV middleware to power Dansk Bredband's proposed IPTV service. The initial
service will involve subscribers in the Copenhagen area with planned expansion
for over 100,000 subscribers across Denmark and other parts of Scandinavia
within three years.
Dansk Bredband will implement Orca's RiGHTvTM middleware and Subscriber User
Interface for TV, Video-on-Demand (VOD) and Home Media IPTV applications coupled
with BitBand's MaestroTM Content Distribution and Management suite and Vision
280TM VOD servers. Danish systems integrator, DigiEyeZ will lead the deployment.
