                     Resignation of Non-Executive Director



Ormonde Mining plc ("Ormonde" or the "Company") advises that Mr. David O'Beirne,
a non-executive director of the Company, is resigning from the Board. Mr.
O'Beirne's resignation is effective from the date of this announcement.


Mr. O'Beirne is also resigning his role as company secretary to Ormonde, which
will be filled by Mr. John Carroll.


The Board of Ormonde wishes to extend its thanks to Mr. O'Beirne for his
contribution as a director of the Company.
