               Completion of Fund Raising

The London Stock Exchange has announced today that all of
the  ordinary share capital of Oxford BioMedica  plc  has
been  admitted to the Official List and has been admitted
to   trading  on  the  London  Stock  Exchange,   thereby
satisfying the final outstanding condition of the Placing
and the Open Offer, announced by the Board of the Company
on  12  March 2001. The Placing and the Open Offer raised
approximately £30 million, net of expenses.

In  addition to this, Beeson Gregory Limited  has  raised
approximately £2.6 million, before expenses, through  the
placing  of  Offer  Shares, not  taken up  by  Qualifying
Shareholders, with institutional investors.
