Holdings in Company
The Company was notified on 19 December 2005 by Calyon Corporate and Investment
Bank that following a recent sale, Credit Agricole SA had an interest in
35,649,249 of the Company's ordinary shares of 1p each ('Ordinary Shares'),
representing 7.15 per cent. of the issued Ordinary Share capital. These shares
are registered in the name of Credit Agricole Cheuvreux International Limited.
In addition, the Company was notified on 19 December 2005 by GAM London Limited
('GAM') that following a recent purchase, funds managed by GAM listed below,
at close of business on 15 December 2005 had an interest in a total of
20,062,950 of the Company's Ordinary Shares, representing 4.02 per cent. of the
issued Ordinary Share capital.
