Appointment of two directors completes
new Board structure at Oxford Instruments
Oxford Instruments has completed the restructuring of its senior
executive and non-executive team with the appointment to its main
Board of two non-executive directors with extensive international
business experience, Peter Morgan and Peter Hill.
Peter Morgan has had a distinguished business career having been a
main Board director of IBM UK, Chairman of SWALEC and the Director
General of the Institute of Directors. He is currently chairman
of Pace Micro Technology Plc and the National Provident
Institution as well as the software company KSCL. He is also
deputy chairman of Baltimore Technologies Plc.
Peter Hill is President of Invensys Air Systems, an operating
division of Invensys Plc. Formerly Head of Strategic Planning for
BTR Plc, as Director of Merger Integration he was then
responsible for the successful merger of BTR and Siebe Plc to form
Invensys Plc earlier this year. He was an Executive Director of
Costain Group Plc from 1992 to 1997.
