Oxford Instruments plc: Completion of Oxford Magnet Technology sale
Oxford Instruments plc, the advanced instrumentation company, today announces
that the sale of its stake in Oxford Magnet Technology Limited ("OMT") has been
completed, following the formal approval of the German competition authorities.
Oxford Instruments announced on 11 November 2003 that it had agreed to sell its
49% share of OMT and the ongoing use of certain intellectual property to Siemens
plc for a total cash consideration of £9.1m.
