Notification of Share Transactions by Directors and

Purchase of Shares by Employee Trust

On 1 February 2012, The Paragon Group of Companies PLC (the "Company") was notified by The Paragon Group of Companies PLC Employee Trust (the "Trust") that the following directors have exercised awards under the Paragon Performance Share Plan for nil consideration and subsequently sold all of the Ordinary Shares of £1 each in the Company ("Shares") awarded.  Full details of the transactions are below:

Separately, on 31 January 2012, the Company was notified by the Trust that on 30 January 2012 the Trust purchased 300,000 Shares in the Company at £1.814044 per share.  The Shares were acquired to meet awards as they mature and are exercised under The Paragon Group of Companies Deferred Bonus Scheme, in which the Company's executive directors and certain of the Company's senior employees have participated from time to time.

Following the purchase of the shares and the exercise of the share awards reported above, the total shares held by the Company's various employee trusts is 2,628,163.
