Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The Board of Parkmead, the investment group, announces the appointment of Faysal Essam Hamza as a Non-Executive Director who is joining the Board with immediate effect.

Faysal is an Executive Director of Swicorp Private Equity ('Swicorp') and manages the day to day operations of the Swicorp Joussour Company ('Joussour'), a private equity vehicle established as a Saudi Arabian Joint Stock Company capitalized at US$712 million, where he is responsible for the origination, execution and post acquisition integration of transactions in the Oil & Gas sector, Petrochemicals and energy-intensive industries.  

Prior to joining Swicorp Faysal had 17 years experience in the energy and finance sectors in the United States, United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia which includes roles with, Arab Petroleum Investments Corp, Khalid Alturki and Sons, Arco International Oil and Gas Company, Saudi International Bank and Saudi Arabian Oil Company.
