£270,000 investment in Mediasurface Limited ('Mediasurface')
Interregnum, the IT venture marketeer and investor, today
announces its third investment since flotation on 13 March
2000: a £270,000 equity investment in Mediasurface, a supplier
of integrated e-business content management solutions. Eight
additional investors, including GE Equity, Goldman Sachs
International, Reuters Greenhouse, 3i plc, Elderstreet
Investments Limited, Amadeus Capital Partners Limited, Index
Ventures and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson Private Equity, have
contributed to this round of financing, which has raised £21
million for Mediasurface.
The financing will be used to assist Mediasurface's aggressive
plans for continued expansion, focusing on achieving European
dominance and significant global market share.
Mediasurface, headquartered in London, provides Internet
content management software and services. Its latest product,
Mediasurface 3, was designed as the hub of e-business, offering
a significant advantage in speed to market by managing all the
interactions between people, content and applications.
