PARITY GROUP PLC - BOARD CHANGES



Parity Group plc ('Parity'), the IT consultancy group, announces the
appointment of Lisa Gernon as a Non-Executive Director and the retirement from
the Board of Tom Murphy and Sir Thomas Stonor with immediate effect.



Lisa, 42, is currently Launch and Strategy Director for Hutchison 3G and
previously held a number of senior appointments in the telecommunications
sector, including most recently the position of CEO, Mobile Division for Cable
& Wireless.  Since 1999, Lisa has served as a Non-Executive Director of
Safeway plc.



Tom Murphy, 72, and Sir Thomas Stonor, 65, retire from the Parity Board after
4 and 7 years respectively.



Bill Cockburn, Chairman of Parity, said 'We are very pleased to welcome Lisa
whose skills and experience will add to the strength of our Board.  Our
warmest thanks go to Sir Thomas Stonor and Tom Murphy for their valuable
contribution to the Group over the years and we wish them well in the future.'
