Silvermines Group plc is pleased to announce that it has received both 
the approval of its shareholders and all regulatory authorities to 
change its name to Vislink plc.  The new name will take effect from 
Friday 17 December 1999.

Commenting on the name change, Vislink's Chief Executive, Ian 
Scott-Gall, said;

'The Board believes that the name Vislink plc better reflects the focus 
we have placed on higher technology and faster growth businesses for the
future.'
